Ok, guess I´m first. Here comes my very PINK project... The background is made by using Pink paint from Ayeeda, plus different inks from Ayeeda, Dylusions and Maya Road. All in different shades of pink. The leaves was made by adding a bit of modling paste mixed with ink trough a stencil. They can appear white but if you look on the detail pictures in my blog they are really, really light shades of pink. The same inks and paint was used on the entire page(s). The darker splatter (for exmple on one of the buttons) can appear brown but they are the rather dark drying Maya Road Cotton Candy Mist. The same was used on the frame and the heart. The center sparkle on the big flower is a bit of pink nail coat. The light trick the eye to belive it is silver even though it is pink metallic. Any black shades around the outlines of the pages are just from the floor underneath. Didn´t want to crop to much of the page.

Hello! I used a translator to write in English, I hope that there are no faults Here's my double layout. I chose white monochrome. I used a stencil with gesso on background. I stuck a paper white place mat, a white foliage and a white butterfly. I cut circles and I stuck them in 3 D. I put of the white thread also.

I decided to create a lot of texture on this layout because I couldn't use a lot of colour. I gathered a bunch of yummy stuff from my stash that was bin my shade of blue and glued them in lots of layers. I then added a coat of gesso and sprayed everything a pretty shade of teal. You have to see the close up picture on my blog to really get how pretty this turned out . www.christyriopel.com Good luck everyone and thanks for looking!

This is my entry for this round. I wanted to use some photo's which mean a lot to me. And because she is such a sweet little girl I decided to use pink. Fortunally I had enough pink stuff I could use. I started with soft pink scrappapers. I used a very light pink paint to color the edges of the pages. Then I took glimmermist and a pale pink to make some splashes. I colored some white paint into pink and took a mask to make the little circles. The washitape is a combination of bright and pale pink so I used that also. I found the pink arrows in my stash. I made the title by painting the stamp with a bright pink, stamped it and cut the words out. I also found pink beads which I glued all around the page. The colors on the photo are not quite the real colors, they are realy all pinks. You can see my layout also on http://madebymaly.blogspot.com

Here is my entry: Color used: Green Techniques: Modeling paste, inked, clear embossed (for distressed speckled effect) Journaling reads: In the summer of 2008 the Sterner's headed to San Diego for a relaxing summer vacation. I think we owed it to the children after that fiasco of a Sterner family vacation, just a couple of summer's before that. The majority of our time was spent at Torrey State Beach. Just a 10 minute drive from our hotel. It took some kids longer to find the courage to explore the depths and waves of the Pacific. But once they did, I was left on the shore to babysit the birds. My take on the monochromatic double layout challenge! Acrylic paint has been sprayed yellow, chipboard element was painted then sprayed too. Little splashes of yellow, a few yellow details and - finished!
