Here is my all white double layout. It was a lot of work, but I really enjoyed the process! Started with white cardstock and Martha Stewart punch around the page. Made flowers out of different papers, felt and vellum, used buttons, pearly swirls, punched out lots of butterflies. The title I punched out of my photograph so the white cardstock shines through and that makes up the title!

Here is my take on the challenge- I have decided to go with different types of blues... I loved this challenge I used texture paste, gessos, Lindy's mists, hot melt gems, distress inks, paints, perfect pearls, glass pebbles and just about everything I could find.

This is my entry to the 2nd Challenge. I used 2 AC cardstocks as my layout base. I made 3 hearts from air dry clay, Tim Holtz gears die cuts, pear flat buttons. I put in some punched bricks and distressed the edges. Fiskars stamp for the title Precious Baby. The laces are recycled from an old dress. The stars are actually ribbons which I handcut. I also used thin dies for the butterflies, pram and hot air balloon. I chose blue as my monochromatic scheme to fit with my subject. This is Abang, one of my favorite wards when he was a baby. I had so much fun with this layout and enjoyed it doing it more than the first which was nerve-wracking to be honest. And here is my take on the challenge. I went all white I cut a big heart and title with Cameo and attached it on both papers with my sewing machine. I coloured a number of heart and arrows wood veneers with white acrylic paint. I used a label maker and transparent tape to write the journal. Both title and journal are from the Monty Pythons song "Always look on the bright side of life" For more information and a close-up photo you can visit my blog: astero-en.blogspot.gr/2014/02/supreme-scrap-tournament-round-2.html Hope you like it! I did it ! … my double LO for round 2 is done … and it wasn't that simple to me ! The most difficult part was to find embellishments without any pinch of black or white … only dark brown or light tan ... The background had been colored with acrylic inks (ink!, by Liquitex) and Distress ink, and then lightly stamped with "coffee" archival ink. No black and no white were used, that for sure
You can see some close-ups and détails HERE, on my blog thecoloredsideofmylife.blogspot.fr/2014/02/2nd-round.html
