France - Cortaline Hello ladies, Here is my double layout with 3 pictures, 3 places very importants near my house. I worked a double layout with a layout on both papers to have a continuity in my story. I stuck falls of paper, past of the gesso and worked with the watercolor and néocolorsII (watercolors pastels). The bottom is stamped and worked with stencils (masks) and of the modeling paste. The journaling is writting on some vellum paper with the typewriter. I added some embellishments, adhesive tape of masking and title. More details on my blog : scrapdecortaline.canalblog.com/archives/2014/02/02/29101841.html Thank you for your looks and your visit.

France- CarolecHello, Here's my double layout. I worked my bottom of page with gelatos and some water. I used stamps writing and I drew circles with a black pen. I cut circles from various papers and I stuck them on my bottom. I printed my journaling on some white paper and I cut it strips. I walked around my area, counting the steps as I went, taking photos of the important places and things we use. I have created my own paper using distress inks for the base and stencil work on top, die cut the fence and birds on the branches, added stamped images of the squirrels and the tree stump as well as the flock of birds. Then just for fun, I also added my ATC which I entered into the card competition as it worked with the theme and my colour scheme! Hello everyone... I used loads of distressing around most of my papers. Added stickers in various fonts for my title and did some fussy cutting and die cutting for my flowers and other embellishments. I love to stamp so there is also some stamping on my page. I also used some Perfect Pearls for the little feet at the bottom of my page showing to the steps to various places of interest in my area. Hello! This is my layout for the first challenge of Scrap Tournament 2014! I decided to take some pictures of the houses just across my building…the little houses that have been abandoned for ages but…there is a story behind this mess... I used only paper, scissors embellishments and glue…no color for me this time …I really missed my mist ! You can see more details in by blog: papersscissorsandme.blogspot.gr/2014/02/scrap-tournament-2014first-challenge.html
So, have fun everyone and good luck! Vasso

Hello ladies! I'm so glad being here!! This is my take on the challenge. I made some circles with acrylic paint and a bubble wrap (I really love this tecnique!) I used a photo of the road we live, one of my eldest daughter playing with the flowers, one with both of my elder kids riding their bikes at the park and one with an almond tree in blossom. All the flowers I used are handmade by my mother in law. I hope you like it!!! You can see more details in my blog myembellisheddaydream.blogspot.gr/2014/02/1000-steps.html

Supreme Scrapbook Tournament - Challenge 1 Well here is my take on the chanllenge – 1000 Steps from home…. How I created my page : I inked my page with Tim Holtz distress inks, then painted gesso over the ink and stencilled with gesso. The hearts, leaves and tree was inked and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. On my title letters I used a stencil and embossed with copper embossing powder. I also inked the letters. A lot of use of distress inks, chalks and embossing powders. Please visit my blog : creativeflair-mags.blogspot.com/
