I used patterned paper for the background, creating the "floor" and the "wallpaper" of the room and I printed the luggage logo. I hand-cutted the handles and the suitcases from a brown grocery paper bag. I used a black pitt pen for the lines and watercolours for the shadows. Some string for my handwritten tag and distress ink pad around the ATC and on the skirt. I hope you like it
Then used Stampabilities Fran'tage Shabby Blue Embossing Powder, Clear gloss embossing powder, Gold embossing powder, and K& C Smitten Hearts Pillow Stickers. Doodlebug smily sweet black rubon alphabet for saying. Black mesh ribbon, natural linen twine.
No spray inks, paint or other wet media other than Copics, boarder effect achieve from Fran'tage embossing powders and elements.

And here is my very first ATC, you can find more details here
Having just returned from a business trip - and about to leave for the next one tomorrow, as soon as I saw the quote I knew that would be what I would work on. And while I was searching my travel themed related stash, I found a Bazzill paper that had part of Greece map at almost the right dimensions! I also found an October Afternoon paper inspired by the airport announcements and found just the right part - a flight which I might very well have used to return back home
I printed the quote on vellum paper (yes, I spent quite some time to see the font size and where each phrase should be printed!). I glued the vellum on the map and added some stitching with my sewing machine. Distressed the map around the edge and matted with a coordinating cardstock.
Finally I added wood veneers that I coloured with ProMarkers and Glossy Accent on the heart.

Here is my Challenge #1 ATC. We just moved, so this challenge was very personal. I put a lot of thought into how I wanted to convey how I was feeling on this tiny canvas. I used a piece of cardboard and painted it black to start. I rubbed brown distress ink on corners of paper doilies and glued them to the sides. The key (represents home) and the words were cut from a piece of patterned paper (Christy Tomlinson "She Art"). There are many layers of Mod Podge on here. For additional photographs, I'd love for you to visit my blog.
I made my background with gesso and acrilic paint...blue and pink!!I also used a little stamp with hearts and a pen for the the title!!The big heart also is with a black pen and i glue some tissue paper on it with gel medium!!!This is the post to my blog rozkardies.blogspot.gr/2014/02/atc.html I hope you like it!!Thanks for voting!!!!
Here is my take on the challenge. I created the background by using some acrylic paint, tissue paper and perfect pearls. I opted for a beach theme as I would love to settle by the beach in my own wee home. Hence I could not resist adding some shell to the card. I added the quote and then some sequin waste which I had previously used as a stencil.
