Hello ladies, Here is my take on this challenge. The journalling reads: "When I came to live in the Netherlands I could never imagine that I would fall for the small town charms of Haarlem. It is actually a very large city – the capital of Noord Holland, but with a small-town feel. Now 10 years later I truly enjoy the leisurely pace of his historic streets with their 17th century architecture and walking through its exquisite small gardens, the so called hofjes. And the best parts is, that living in the heart of the city gives me the privilege to be less than a 1000 steps from all that Haarlem has to offer." I hope you will like it :-)

Hi, Here is my work "thousand steps from my home" The town were i live, the highlights of the place were i live, the street, house number and the street with one of the many bridges in our town and last the entree of the shopping center "The Aarhof". It is all there within 1000 steps from my home. Only the telephone tower is further. But that is an extra picture because it belongs to the skyline from my hometown. Mixed media; I have n't done it before so it 's the first time for me. I don't know idid it right but it be so. The background is on withe paper with little gray and black points on it. I bought it earlier this week. Over it I worked with pensels and different colors of blue ink and stamps. Because I'm from the Netherlands i used tulipstamps so it gave an extra issue of where I live. Well that's all I have to tell.... Thank you for reading! Yvonne
