My interpretation of this challenge.
I have used water ink (like writers ink but not permanent), stamp ink, gesso blended with water ink, modeling paste, glitter paint and Twinkling H2O´s to make the background. NO SPRAYING - just blending with brush and water and drips from the ink dispenser (you know the pipette with a rubber ballon on on end that sucks up the ink from the bottle...).
The journaling is about the wonderful area where I live. We have a river, the sea and a big forest just around the corner from our house.

Here is my double layout, about where I live and the miracles around us. I took two sheets of white cardstock and used black acrylic paint to create the background. I could not limit myself to just three photos, and I'm pretty sure I could have squeezed in tons of more, if my printer wasn't short of ink, since one of my favourite things to do is to grab my camera and go out in my surroundings trying to convince the nosy buzzards and red kites who circle the fields to pose for me. Normally, they won't, but that means I have tons and tons of photos of the countryside on and around our farm.
I'm really happy for the opportunity to make this layout, since there are things going on in our immediate surroundings that have ruined part of the love that I have always felt for this place, even before we decided to settle there. I need to remind myself of what we are fighting for, and making this layout really helped me focus on that for a while. So, thank you for the opportunity!
More pictures, and more info about the layout is on my blog: In my studio

Now I have made my double layout. Its a short walk from home where I have this favourite place. Near the water. In the background I have used some gesso and acrylic paint. Also some stamping. Prima paper, some fabric and I have also used the sewing machine. Some chalk and glitter on the flowers. My journaling can you see on the top and on the left and right side of the layout.
Thanks for looking and please visit my blog if you want see more of my layout. Thanks for voting!
For the pattern I have stippled distress ink through masks on the paper. Journaling is around the edge, and is about how to live in a small village and that I like the fact I can have animals around me and nature is around the corner.

This is my "touch" of the first LO-challenge. The photos are taken near our house and here you can see a little bit of how we are living in Eskilstuna in Sweden. In the background of my layout I have used dry chalks, a lots of gesso, lace and flowers. I really love the colours white and turquoise, so fine together.
Visit my blog to se more pics of this layout! Thanks for looking and I hope for your vote

I've used craft paper as my background for my layout. I also used some acrylic paint, lots of stamps, some ribbon and buttons and a few brads.
My journaling (over 100 words) is about my wish to have a garden of my own for many years and that I finally found the garden I wanted and that's where I live now. The journaling is at first about how I've always wanted a garden of my own and my way to that garden. The end of the text says that I've finally found my home and that it's the garden that made us fell for our home. Just some steps outside the door I've got trees, bushes, flowers and growing spaces. Without the garden our house wouldn't be the house of our life. It also say that the house wasn't really that important when we found our dream garden and that I love every single plant/flower/tree in the garden.

This is my double I made for the contest. This is the second double layout I made in my life, so it was quite a challenge for me, but I had so much fun while making this layout.
I photographed the road which I ride (or walk) on almost every day and on the layout you see the route to my house. The journaling explains why this road is so important to me and ends with the sentence... I drive this road almost daily and every time when I ride through te residential area and cross the road I think...Yes, I'm almost home again!

This spread shows some pictures of the sculpture in the park at the end of the street, where I live with my husband. The sculpture is made by Margo Zanstra out of steel. It has no name, so I call this spread: Without title.
I have worked with 3 scrapbook papers of Bo Bunny, item Zip-A-Dee Doodle. I did not use spray ink, the drops were already on the paper. I cut some flowers out of the scrapbook paper, but i also have used the Cricut Expression for cutting some flowers and Ribbons. I used the cartridges Ribbons and Rosettes and Accent Essentials. I took some paint for to brush the flowers and the title, I made a mix of the colours blue, white and green for to reach the right colour. The flowers are finished with a button and wax cord. The journaling is a short explanation of the sculpture and the artist who made it. I printed it on cardstock.

Hey! Here's my double layout! You will see the building where I live and the environment of my home. I live in an apartment on the third floor. In front of our house we have a lawn with a big tree. And when you cross the street you will see a beautiful nature, the forest. You can have a nice walk there with friends or with your dog. I have used at the top of my layout ribbon and I made labels. At the labels I wrote my story of my home in Dutch. Between those labels I glued stones. At the bottom of my layout I used rope and I punched leaves. The photo’s I have matted. I hope you like it.
