Hi, my biggest problem was the journaling. I don't like journaling on my Layouts. But I started my project and everything came together. I use six photos and cut them out. They show my son with his father how they feed some animals and observes them. The animal enclosure is near our home, where we often spend free time. At the background I use gilattos pens and some different washi tapes. I want integrate the photos to the layout with few flower stickers and grasses. At several places I put peaces of cardboard. The twine end with hang-glider. My journalig tell about children and how fast they grow up and leave home. And now you are invited to visit my blog: Scrap my dayThanks for voting! Your Winkyli

Here's my take on challenge one! I've u sed a lot of white paint, torn paper, stencils, roller stamps (not sure if that's an actual word, but..), stamps in general and some Prima goodies. And a lot of wood veneer - I cannot live without wood veneer, haha. Not using mists or spray inks was a challenge, though! Hopefully you can see enough of our neighbourhood.

Hello all, the 'no mist' was a huge challenge for me & it's been a long time since I've completed a double layout, but it was a bit of fun. My layout is of the tree just outside our property, about 50 steps from our front door. It's pretty special to us because of the tawny frogmouths that live in it. The male kept us awake for many nights with his 'hooting', when it went quiet we wondered what had happened to him...only to discover he had a mate! They are very sweet snuggling together. There is a close up image of the journalling on my blog paula-mycreativeramblings.blogspot.com.au/2014/02/supreme-scrap-tournament-2014.htmlThanks for looking.

Here is my LO to 1000 steps. I am living in the center of my town and so I see within 1000 steps a lot of houses. The special thing abot them are the doors. The houses are old and so they tell their stories with them. I LOVE Doors. About that I wrote on my LO. Thanx for voting!

Finally done! LO on canvas, photos from my garden, die cuts and stenciling. Background made with acrylic paint and glitter paint. Translation of the text: "Is it possible to feel LOVE (die cut) for a place? This place is magic, his enchantement lies in the memories, behind every bush and every tree is a long lost dream. Yes, I love this place" blogpost is here: baerbelborn.blogspot.de/2014/02/scrapbooking-turnier-runde-eins.html

Here is mine - it's about the road home from school. It's only 800 m, and we are halfway when I take the pictures - a steep little valley. So you see the kids going down, taking pictures by a electric house and then my son running up the last hill (background is done with peerless watercolor paper, distress stains, distress ink and acrylic ink More on my blog: umenorskan.blogspot.com/2014/02/challenge.html
