Hello, Here's my double layout. I used some acrylic paint to get an even background. With stamps, masks and some leftover rub-ons I tried to bring the colors from dark to light on the page - to match the photos. Some Washis at the top and bottom and some stars and a flair to embellish my pages. Thank you for your interest and your vote. More details on my blog: scrapmylife

I have used 4 pictures: The sofa is one, children is one, the cat is one and the picture hanging on the wall. I have made this page from our living room. Used different pattern papers, gesso, Cheesecloth, some Prima embellishments an other cut outs. The story is: We were on a vacation in Tenerife in January, and we had a great time. The children were really enjoying themselves. But I think they were more happy when we got home. They were missing their friends, their toys, the cat and the house So the conclusion: Ain`t no plase like home !!! Hello, here is my take on the first scrapbooking challenge. I took 1000 steps from home and ended up in a crossing, also a spot where there is a state border. So I chose that sport for the photos. Did black and white photos, so the background could be more colorful. I used papers by 7 Dots studio (they have already color splatters on them - so no ink spray used here!!). I used acrylic paint with a brayer and stamps and chipboards for details. did my title and journaling in German. Had fun doing this!! was hard for me as I never do double page layouts and almost always use spray inks . But I tackled the challenge TFL! (here is my blog link for more details)

Here is my Art Journal double Page of my home. I used pages from an old book for the collage as a backround, put white Gesso on it. I used masks with acrylic paints, rubbons and washi tapes. The photos show my street where I live, the bus stop nearby of my home and a roundabout traffic with sculptures. These sculputres ware made by students of a technical school for remembrance of prisoners of the external camp of the concentration camp Mauthausen. zsu-kreativblog.blogspot.co.at/2014/02/sst-2014-scrapbooking-diva-tournement.html

I chose to do a Project Life style double layout. My husband and I went for a walk in our local neighbourhood and were amazed when to look around you to find that even though we live in suburbia the surrounds can make you feel like you're in the countryside.

Hi:-) Here are my layout about where I live. Right now everything where I live is really grey and winter-green. I am so looking forward to summer! (my blog won't be my friend today, so no link to a blogpost from me.) I made a layout that shows how the grey winter is her in the western parts of Norway, and how I am longing for spring. I used paint and washi tape to make this page, really easy. My journaling reads: "In the west of Norway we're not used to much snow , but this winter it has been TO grey. These pictures from my neighbourhood shows how sad everything looks with no snow, and no flowers.. The cherry tree is waiting to blossom and the pots are longing for some nice plants. My favorite spot outside right now has to be the mailbox:-) Can't wait for spring!" Attachments:

I have used two bazzil sheet, stencil and mixed Pan pastel blue with modeling paste to create the stars. The images have been sanded on the edges and blackened with ink pad. Heading is cut from qk-dies and the small circles and the large circle is a punch. The text is about when my boy got his new room, preparations and how happy he was for his new room Hope you like what you see
