Since we have over 200 participants, we have to have some strict rules to make this a smooth tournament. We don't like to be strict, but it is a necessary thing!
So please read the rules carefully.
About the challenges:
- Scrapbooking is all about photos. We will clearly state how many photos you will have to use on your layout. If you make a card, you can use photo's but it is not an requirement. For ATC's no photo's are required. Since the mixed media projects are in the scrap contest, you need to use photo's!
- You are allowed to use any technique (such as mixed media) on the scrapbooking layout(s), as long it is allowed in the challenge. We will clearly state the requirements to colours, techniques, papers e.o. with each challenge
- A layout can consist out of 1 or 2 pages. This will be clear in each challenge.
- If you can not comply to any of these general rules or the challenge rules, your entry will be removed from the forum thread without prior notice! So make sure that you comply with the challenge rules.
About posting your work:
- If you are ready you can post your work in the right thread of the forum.
- Make sure you post in the right group. There will be a list in each thread with the names of the ones that are competing against each other
- We prefer that you make a post in your blog (if you have one) and insert the image of your work using a URL
Only 1 photo per entry please. You can post more detailled photos and descriptions on your blog so that everyone can read this. - If you don't have a blog or gallery, you can post bij using an attachment! (top right if you are posting!) Make sure your attachments are approx. 600x600 dpi (or 1200x600 dpi for double layouts) and a max of 250kb. We have limited space on our server. We will remove all images that are larger without prior notice.
- Please explain your project in the thread, tell us something about your work. Explain how you used the challenge. We want this to be cristal clear for everyone
- You will be given plenty of time to finish a challenge. So no stress!
- No comments in the challenge threads please, you may chat away on facebook about them but on the forum we only want the projects (with explainations). Nothing else!
About the voting:
- After the closing date of the challenge voting will start
- All participants that start on Febr 1 can vote during the whole tournament. You can vote for cards and scrap (it doesn't matter what tournament you are playing yourself.) Voting is not obligatory, but the more votes the more fun!
- The voting can only be done by the participants that registrated on our forum. So you don’t have to worry about having a lot of online friends to win!
- You can vote once in each group, except in the group where you are playing at the moment. If you vote in your own group you are out of the tournament immediately!
- After closure of the voting the results will be visible on the forum. More details on the voting will follow after closing round 1 sst.freeforums.net/thread/303/voting and or the threads
The rounds:
- There are 5 rounds in this tournament. Each for card and scrapbook (so 10 in total). The last is the grand final were the last 2 of scrap and the last to of card will compete
- The dates can be found here
- There will be usually about 7-10 days for creating your projects and about 5 days for voting
- In challenge 1,2 and 3 approxemately 50% of each group will go to the next challenge. So it is not an 1 on 1 competition until the very end. We think this is a fair way to give everyone a chance to win. We will explain in each challenge how many will go to the next challenge (before voting)
The winners
- There will be 2 overall winners.
- Those lucky ones will win a unique trophy!

We hope that you are just as excited as we are!
We can't wait to see all your projects.
