Hi Guys, glad to be back for another round! I went very old school with this layout! A little water colouring and lots of doodling. I even went into my stash of random old brads! This was a fun challenge! for more info and pics www.christyriopel.com Just wanted to add a note, my layout is all one layer on the white. Nothing is cut out. The dimension is from shading.hope that clarifies any questions

Good morning, ladies! This is my entry! I admit that this is one of the toughest challenges I took on in my entire scrapbooking history. And of course, it was un-expected (again). Bep and Nanette know HOW TO SHAKE US & GET US OUT OF OUR COMFORT ZONES! lol Now doodling is a technique that is not usually used in mixed media, layered layouts (like the ones I make). I personally believe that it's a lot closer to the art-journalling. Threfore in front of this challenge, I was in a dilemma: Either to make something true to my "Melenia" style OR find ideas from Pinterest or other galleries and be inspired (aka start off with them). I chose the first option. I decided to make a page and incorporate/embrace/enfold doodling in my style. Now this is a big risk because it takes a great deal of skill, in order to put something new into your page in the perfect amount and way. So my page contains doodling and you can find it around the edges of the layout, as well as around the big cluster where the 4 photos lie upon and on 2 two of the photos. The theme of my page is the beauty of the butterfly, that's why I mostly doodled butterflies flying around!!! The journalling and the title are hand-written of course, as you can see.... No flowers, no people. More details and phots in my blog

Here comes my layout. I have doodle with different black and white pens. I have also used different pens to color it, distressmarkers, big brush and NeocolorII pens .Everything is handdrawn by me. Doodle on two photos, and I also have journaling in the air. I have really challenge myself and I have no embellishments. Really fun to do! see more details on my blog: mezzanotteskapar.blogspot.se/2014/02/round-3-in-supreme-scrap-tournament.html!

Hello everyone Well, all I can say is this was a REAL challenge.. I cannot draw and now I know I cannot doodle either...lol... anyway... although I am not in a happy place with my completed project... it will have to do. Thanks to all who took the time to vote for my last submission - I am loving these challenges.... even though i am sure I have an extra few grey hairs after this week...LOL I used Adirondack Colorwash spray in Stream, Red Pepper and sunset orange for the background. I wanted to create the rich vibrancy and colourful backgrounds of the people of Cape Town. Doodling was done with a black fine tip marker and I added some color to my title with ProMarkers You can find more information on my blog: www.stampnscrapwithshamela.blogspot.com/2014/03/supreme-scrap-challenge-tournament.htmlThanks for taking a peek Keep it Krafty.... Hugz Shamela ;-)

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to take part on the third challenge! Boy, it took some time to make this layout... It's the last day of carnival period in Greece so I thought I should disguise my cat Lola and use the doodling on the photos as part of the disguise. For the title I tried for the first time to write it with acrylic paint and a round brush. The journaling are Lola's thoughts (she's not so happy with the final result apparently, lol!) and to keep it directly on the layout I painted bubbles with white acrylic and used Micron pens to write on them. I also doodled the frame, a few embellishments and used foam stickers to add them to the layout... and additional doodling around the elements of the layout. Hope you like it! Hello, here is my work for this round...I had a busy week, so i'm very late with it. I hope you like it.. It hasn't be easy to find the right pics. but i like these. I used only distress ink "peeled paint" and a black pen, and the boots and cap i drawed on paper and did cut it out.
